Yes. The free tier is completely open — no signup, no email address, no credit card. Just open the PAIN.001 Generator in your browser, enter your payment details, and download the file. The limit is 10 individual payments per XML file.
If you regularly process more than 10 payments at once — for example running a monthly payroll or paying a batch of suppliers — the Pro plan (CHF 5/month) removes that limit entirely. You can include hundreds of payments in a single PAIN.001 file.
You subscribe once and are billed CHF 5 each month. You can cancel at any time from your account dashboard — your access remains active until the end of the current billing period. No penalties, no hidden fees.
The subscription is per user account. If you are a fiduciary or CFO managing payment files for several clients, one Pro subscription covers all your files — there is no per-company fee. Contact us if you need a team or agency arrangement.
The generator produces ISO 20022 PAIN.001.001.03.ch.02 files, which is the standard format accepted by all major Swiss banks including UBS, Credit Suisse (now UBS), Raiffeisen, PostFinance, Zürcher Kantonalbank, and all other cantonal banks.
